The Balvenie 12-Year DoubleWood

A classic Speyside single malt scotch that gains its distinctive character from being aged in two separate wood types. It spends 12 years in traditional oak whiskey casks before being transferred to Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a beautifully balanced dram of sweet fruit, Oloroso sherry notes, and a layer of honey and vanilla.
